The Purple Parade – Singapore’s largest movement to support inclusion and celebrate abilities of Persons with Disabilities.
THE PURPLE PARADE is a unifying national platform to promote awareness and celebrate abilities of Persons with Disabilities. The core of The Purple Parade movement is to ensure that Persons with Disabilities are included in the main chapter of Singapore’s growth and have equal access to education, employment, transport and social networks.
Our VISION is for the spirit of the movement to continue for many more years to come; and for Persons with Disabilities to be fully included, valued and celebrated in our country.
It is a ground-up movement spearheaded by various organisations from the People, Public and Private, and supported by the Central Singapore Community Development Council (CDC)
Marked by its iconic purple square, THE PURPLE PARADE logo symbolises solidarity for Persons with Disabilities.
Its four sides represent equality for Persons with Disabilities in the Singapore story, with the square symbolising strong building blocks towards an inclusive Singapore.
