Justin fondly reveals, "There are many individuals who make an impact on my life. I would say my biggest inspiration is John Williams, the composer of the film scores for the Star Wars saga. My favourite has to be the soundtrack from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. He really is a talented person – a composer, conductor and pianist, all in one!

Then there is also the Artistic Director and Conductor of The Purple Symphony, Mr Quek Ling Kiong. Always going the extra mile for the orchestra, I appreciate his efforts a lot and would like to dedicate my playing to him.

Last but not least is my music teacher, Mr Ngoh Kheng Seng. It is his credit that I'm able to be the percussionist I am today, because he coaches and inspires me."
