Food, Festivities and Music by Nicholas! “My first favourite thing about Singapore is how festive and special the atmosphere at Orchard Road can get, especially at Christmas, with decorations and light-ups. I love it all. My second favourite thing about Singapore is definitely, can you guess… fish soup and rice! I actually miss it when I don’t get to eat that. I’m really very proud of my home Singapore. Aren’t you proud too?

I am a Percussionist with The Purple Symphony. I’m usually quite nervous at the beginning of a concert, being afraid to make mistakes. But I’ll blend in after a while when I reach a comfortable rhythm. And then I just get very engrossed with the flow of music coming from my instrument. Before I know it, I just don’t get scared at all anymore!”
